NETFLIX'S "Wednesday Series" Non-Spoiler Review:
NETFLIX'S "Wednesday Series" Review:
Brilliantly shot, meticulously acted, and funny at its core.

The Good:
- Jenna Ortega's performance as Wednesday is exceptional; she was born for the role. Although Emma Myers did an exceptional job playing Enid Sinclair, Jenna as Wednesday stole the show. Her cello performance works more like a cliffhanger. I became an instant fan of her weird moves required to take Wednesday Addams to another level. Her dance performance was a sensation on its own, and we've even seen celebrities recreate the dance moves.
- Apart from the performance, the story moves, and Sinclair has a good story arc. Cinematography, along with the color palette, looks like a painting. Most of the shots are framed very well and executed with perfection.
- Even though it revolves around school and surroundings, it never felt claustrophobic. The backstory is solid, and it has good motivation.
The Bad:
- As a normal audience, I couldn't come to a conclusion on the take of it. Is it a parody mocking the thriller genre, or did it take the plot seriously and add humor to it?
- If we want Wednesday as a detective, is she good at it or bad? Because every guess she makes goes nowhere; is it to generate fun, or is she actually considered dumb?
- I'm totally confused throughout, and there are too many characters that no one can justify, but they play an important role.
- The climax was not up to the mark, and the twist was visible from a mile away.
Overall:
- Is Wednesday binge-worthy?
- Absolutely yes, you should watch just to see how fun the characters are, and you'll never get bored with the inconsistent story. It's fun, and it's breathtaking to watch.
- I would give ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5.
