Netflix's " Rebal Moon The Scargiver" Non-spoiler review:

Rebal Moon:
The Scargiver is hard to describe; it's neither great nor terrible. It falls into the mediocre category. After receiving bad reviews for part one, I hoped Snyder would work on the issues, but he did not. Maybe the shooting part was already completed.

Story:
In the first part, we see Kora gathering fighters to defend the moon in which she took refuge, and now we see how the fight plays out. Fighters gather at the village, and after the one-hour mark, they fight, and that's the entire premise, with voiceovers providing two-minute backstories for every fighter.

The good:
There are some moments which are fresh, like James' morals versus his oath not to fight, and Cora being able to board the ship without anyone realizing.
These are some things which need appreciation, and the fight choreography is amazing at times.
The visual effects are stunning; all the plasma blasts or the lava flowing after being shot is something new and looks amazing.
In this movie, we can differentiate between the fighters, and I guess that's something.

The bad:
I hated everyone for giving bad reviews for the first one. Snyder is exploring new territory, and we need to give time to establish. But after watching The Scargiver, I don't think this is going anywhere.
Slow motion within the slow motion; in my opinion, slow-mo is used to show something which we will not appreciate in a normal edit, like a fight scene, blast, or choreography, but not on everything. Everything in this movie moves very slowly.
There is nothing to appreciate, but he still uses slow-mo.
Backstories are lame; we know nothing about the world, and a minute rundown on their entire purpose is lame. Instead, we could have focused this one hour on Kora's backstories, one at a time.
Framing is really bad at some moments, and in the credits, I witnessed the director of photography, Snyder. Can't he hire a professional? The last shot framing on the bridge is terrible, and it plays in slow-mo for a minute, and nothing's happening.
They come back to the moon, and the mother world follows back and attacks the village; they defend, fight, and succeed. I think this is basic.

Overall:
I had mixed feelings; I even liked Army of the Dead. It has enough moving parts which kept me engaged. The first part, even though disappointed at the climax, is better in my opinion. I was expecting greater world-building, and this delivered a mediocre one, that's it."
