what happened to "MCU Post Credit Scenes"?
Post credits are going nowhere in Marvel these days. Back in the days when Marvel was still cool, post-credits meant something, something to root for. But now, it's not worth waiting in theaters to roll the credits and see Starfox, who isn't going to be mentioned in the next 10 years.

Let’s go back to the beginning of post-credits, the Iron Man movie. When Tony meets Nick Fury and he pitches the idea for Avengers, and we knew in that moment we have to follow through all upcoming movies to get ready for the Avengers movie. I watched Captain America, Thor movies just to keep up with the storylines for the Avengers.

But now when you compare post-credits after Endgame, it doesn’t make sense or feel like too much to follow. I personally feel like I cannot keep up with the storylines, threads in all the series, movies, and the post-credits. Now let’s compare the post-credit scenes before Endgame and after Endgame; maybe you will understand my view.
Iron Man was already used to establish the point, so Avengers and Loki have similar post-credit scenes where they place Loki, Thor, and Captain America in the next movie, that is Avengers, whereas Multiverse of Madness introduced Clea and badly rendered CGI. We will never know if it is planned for Kang Dynasty or not.

It is not like every post-credit scene paid off before Endgame, like Mordo turning sides against Doctor Strange, but it's never complicated. Phase 1 to 3 is simple and, moreover, exciting, which is missing after Phase 3. When we take Phase 1 to 3, the story is consistent and connected. We always knew all stories will meet soon, and there are not too many to keep up with. Like Iron Man 2 post-credits revealed SHIELD and Thor. The first Avengers movie revealed Thanos. Captain America: Winter Soldier revealed Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver who became part of the next Avengers movie.

On the contrary, in Phase 4, Shang-Chi, post-credits discuss the Ten Rings, and there is talk about Shang-Chi's placement in MCU yet. Eternals has introduced Starfox, Love and Thunder ends with Jane walking into Valhalla. I don’t think it serves any purpose or introducing Hercules to Marvel without any follow-up.

All of them felt not connected in any which way. I mean, what is Hercules doing where Arishem has control over planets? Who is more powerful? Where is this going? Why do we have Arishem and the "Eternity " in the same space? It doesn’t feel planned and connected universe which MCU used to be.

In Phase 1 to 3, it is very clear that the big bad will be Thanos. Even Loki and Ultron are the big bads of Avengers movies, it was always meant to lead towards Infinity War. But now even they established the big bad to be Kang, it doesn’t feel like it. Maybe introducing way too early or not writing a good character and with scattered post-credits which may never mean anything in the future.

And let's talk very little about Disney plus series. She-Hulk writers are more focused on answering criticism in the show instead of writing a decent drama. I mean, in the post-credits, we see Abomination was rescued by Wong and Hulk introduced, badly rendered and poorly designed live-action Scaar. But, does any of this matter when She-Hulk went into the Disney Plus menu and rewrote the climax which was never played to the audience?

There are some follow-up post-credits scenes like Valentina recruiting for Thunderbolts, apart from that, nothing is followed.
