Disney+ "SHE HULK" Series Spoiler Review:

"She-Hulk: A Green Tide of Disappointment Sweeps the MCU"

credit: MARVEL

She-Hulk introduces a character named Abomination, but sadly, the series itself feels like an abomination within the MCU.

My sentiments about it have grown since the initial trailer, where the hate and criticism initially targeted She-Hulk's CGI but were later overshadowed by glaring issues with the writing.

The Plot:

The narrative lacks substance, as the writers seemingly respond to critics, undermining the MCU's integrity.

The real plot involves Jennifer Walters, cousin to Bruce Banner, undergoing a car accident where Bruce's blood transforms her into She-Hulk. Despite the intriguing premise, numerous plot problems emerge.

Issues with the Plot:

Bruce casually attempts suicide, spits out a bullet, and She-Hulk masters her powers effortlessly, raising questions about the treatment of Hulk's character.

The speed at which She-Hulk controls her emotions, compared to Bruce's lifelong struggle, seems inconsistent and forced.

The introduction of Scaar towards the end appears unnecessary and diminishes She-Hulk's appeal.

Court Drama:

Writers admit their inexperience in courtroom drama, evident in the lackluster execution.

She-Hulk's lack of professionalism, failure to study cases, and the misuse of Matt Murdock's abilities undermine the court setting. Daredevil's character appears wasted, deviating from the composed Murdock seen in Daredevil.

Finale:

The breaking of the fourth wall in the finale, where the show critiques itself and the entire MCU, is jarring and diminishes the cinematic universe's integrity.

Instead of addressing plot holes in other movies, the focus should be on crafting better stories. The climax, with no clear resolution, leaves the audience unsatisfied.

In a surprising move, the character goes to Kevin to rewrite the script, leaving viewers questioning the purpose of investing time if the story isn't concluded appropriately.

The series' attempt to showcase intelligence falls flat, highlighting the need for genuine storytelling over self-praise.

This is perhaps the most personal review I've written, reflecting the disappointment in how the series handled its potential within the MCU."
